Desmond’s role is to lead the CXC business in Malaysia to drive growth and profitability. His primary goal is to create brand exposure for CXC in the local market. He also educates HR and business leaders on best practices related to contingent workforce management on compliance, efficiency, quality and risk management to meet Malaysia’s corporate, multi-generation workforce needs. He brings a diverse industry experience to strategically engage the need to access talent, connecting both clients and contractors, while being innovative at all times to remain competitive
Desmond started his career in the hospitality industry in 1999. After completing his degree in the UK in 2002, he pursued a career in sales in two global organisations and remained in sales ever since. He has worked in the UK, Singapore, Philippines and Malaysia and has travelled extensively across the globe. Desmond moved into the world of HR in 2010 where he was managing sales for the HR Consulting and the Executive Search division and established partnerships with local and global professional bodies, associations and chambers of commerce and created a new brand presence driving business for Malaysia.
Desmond’s expertise covers HR, talent management and outsourcing. Ever since he came on board with CXC in August 2018, he has been working to drive and increase business opportunities with new clients, connecting CXC to potential partners and creating exposure.
When not working, Desmond loves traveling and hanging out with his family.
