The Challenge
The company’s expanding supply chain included over 90 suppliers across EMEA with varying payment terms. Lack of standardisation, inefficiencies, and lengthy approval processes resulted in payment delays of several months, putting a heavy financial burden on their suppliers.
The company needed a compliant supplier management and payment solution to resolve inefficiencies in paying their suppliers on time. The solution had to standardise the payment process, while also accommodating the needs of its diverse suppliers in over 40 countries in EMEA, many of which are small businesses.
Solution
CXC implemented an MSP for the client, to onboard their 91 suppliers. Together, we standardised and automated the payment terms for all suppliers for contingent workers, reducing complexity to streamline the payment process.
We implemented Fieldglass as the VMS to introduce transparency to a process which had previously been entirely opaque for suppliers. We implemented self-billing and consolidated invoicing, increasing payment certainty for suppliers and simplifying invoicing for the client.
The company’s EMEA Consulting Services MSP Program went live on 1 October 2023.

- Introduction of robust reporting and analytics to bring transparency, workforce visibility and aid business decision making.
- Improved invoicing and payment to enable efficiencies and streamlined approach for both our client and their suppliers.
